Supervisor / Assistant Manager Macaroni Penguin & T4 - Battersea Power Station Macaroni Penguin is one of London’s leading children’s playgrounds, known for creating joyful and safe experiences for children under 6 years old. Alongside the playground, we also operate a T4 tea shop. T4 – Tea for U is the UK’s most authentic and popular Taiwanese fresh-brewed tea brand. Founded in Taiwan in 2004 with the philosophy of “connecting people through a cup of tea,” T4 now operates over 60 stores across the UK. Located inside one of London’s most prestigious shopping destinations, our Battersea Power Station store is looking for a Supervisor / Assistant Manager to support daily operations.

We are looking for a hands-on Supervisor / Assistant Manager who is passionate about customer service and team support. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to help ensure the shop run smoothly each day while delivering a great experience for our customers. You will help lead the team on shift, support staff development, and maintain high standards across both Macaroni Penguin and T4.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the daily operations of both Macaroni Penguin and T4
• Leading shifts and helping ensure smooth and efficient service
• Working on the shop floor and assisting with drink preparation, customer service, and playground operations
• Maintaining high standards of product quality, hygiene, and customer experience
• Supporting the training and development of team members
• Helping create a positive and supportive team environment
• Assisting with stock management and basic operational tasks
• Communicating effectively with the team and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
We are looking for someone who is:
• A hands-on team player who enjoys working alongside colleagues and supporting the team
• An experienced barista with good knowledge of bubble tea experience is a plus
• Experienced in hospitality, café, retail, or customer-focused environments
• Friendly, responsible, and confident when leading shifts
• Organised, proactive, and able to stay calm in a busy environment
• Passionate about great service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and customers
